Predictability of deep state and political establishment has been under documented.

After the unceremonious departure from Musharraf doctrine and realization that physical takeovers are not popular or plausible, they decided to practice the ” Control Coup”. General Ashfaq Pervaiz started controlling Zardari Government by continuous destabilization.

This was assisted by the incompetence and corruption of the PPP regime. General Ashfaq Pervaiz Kiani, saw the civil establishment very closely since 2002, got greedy and instead of fulfilling deep state agenda, got himself an extension. He predictably allowed a transfer of power to the next available option Nawaz Sharif, causing an internal outrage.

Nawaz Sharif’s known desire to perpetuate his tenure and accumulate power was predictably checked by crisis created by deep state.

This departure from physical coup to minimal-invasive coup resulted in judicial led removal of Nawaz Sharif to his subsequent arrest weeks before the 2018.

They kept an ineffective PMLN government in power till it’s natural end to show their control and still achieve the results of bringing an extremely weak PTI Government led by extremely unpredictable Imran Khan.

It is predictable that an unstable political government will be easy to control but will this predictability last or another predictable departure to new doctrine is in play.

The deep state seems to have decided to get rid of all old guard political leadership starting from ANP, PKMAP, JI, JUIF, MQM, PPP and PMLN, giving these parties a new leadership, since current had become too knowledgeable of their predictability.

Will the old foxes allow this to happen without an event to remember is yet to be seen. Any mistakes will be fatal for both sides, which is evident by the slogans heard in front of ECP few days ago.

The two most popular leaders Zulfiqar and Benazir Bhutto, in Pakistan’s political history have perished or predictably died or rather killed because they played the predictable bluff. Third most popular leader Mian Nawaz Sharif is again playing the predictable bluff and there is no reason his fate would be same as last two gamblers.

Predictable finger crossing is in offing.
